The 2023 Dodge Hornet G/T
Just like the Italian Alpha Romeo manufacturer, Dodge is also part of the Stellantis group. So, the 2023 Hornet, just like the Alpha Romeo Tonale, is built on the same structure. Both SUVs are assembled in Naples, Italy.
The 2023 Dodge Hornet has its own unique emblem, and comes with a dashboard that is completely focused on the driver. This new sporty compact Dodge SUV’s 12.3- inch central display screen and the Uconnect5 infotainment system screen are both directed towards the driver.
A muscular style
The all-new 2023 Hornet possesses all of the visual features common to Dodge muscle cars. For example, two heat extractors sculpt the hood, and the impressive radiator grille, integrated into the shield, is framed by LED headlights.
Just as spectacular, the rear view of the 2023 Hornet boasts a stunning taillight that runs across the full width of the body.
The 2023 Hornet G/T: powertrain
The entry-level Hornet G/T offers a 3.0 L 4- cylinder turbocharged engine coupled with a 9- speed automatic transmission and a 4- wheel drive drivetrain. It will provide you with 268 horsepower, 295 lb-ft. maximum torque and a 2,000 pound (907 kg) maximum towing capacity.
The 2023 Hornet R/T – hybrid version
The 2023 Hornet R/T is the very 1st plug-in electric Dodge SUV. The Hornet R/T electric has 18- inch Gray Graphite alloy wheels. The Hornet R/T can also come with a sunroof and the Blacktop package with 18- inch black alloy wheels, black mirror caps and gloss-black exterior badges.
The 2023 Hornet R/T: Safety Features
The 2023 Dodge Hornet R/T offers several standard or optional advanced driving assistance systems:
- Collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist alert, and emergency braking that can bring the vehicle to a complete stop in the event of an accident;
- Lane-centering assistance associated with the lateral control system and lane-departure warning, as well as traffic-jam assist;
- Traffic-sign recognition;

The 2023 Hornet R/T: hybrid powertrain
The 2023 Hornet hybrid powertrain combines a 1.3 L turbo engine, a 90 kW electric motor, a 15.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, a 6- speed automatic transmission and a 4- wheel drive drivetrain.
This hybrid powertrain provides you with 285 horsepower and an outstanding 383 lb-ft. maximum torque. When plugged into a level 2 charging station, you will only need 2.5 hrs to reach full charge.
2023 Dodge Hornet: price and arrival date
The 2023 Dodge Hornet G/T base trim level should sell for less than $ 40,000. Dodge is planning on making them available on the Canadian market by December 2022.
